Last updated: August 20, 2026. This is a short Day 0 policy for a static site that is not yet on a public host. It is information about our practices, not legal advice.
What we collect today
This repository does not include advertising code, an ads.txt file, or tracking pixels. We have not invented an analytics token. If the site is later served on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare may process request data (such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps) to deliver and protect the site under Cloudflare’s own terms. We do not currently run a first-party account system, newsletter signup, or contact form, so we are not asking you to create a login.
A Cloudflare Web Analytics snippet may be added later, only after Halo pastes an official beacon token into the layout. Until then, the layout contains a commented placeholder only.
Cookies
We do not set our own marketing cookies. A host or browser security feature may still store technical cookies. When a contact form, analytics product, or advertising product is actually installed, this policy will be updated before that tool goes live, including any consent steps required for visitors in regions that mandate them.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell reader lists. We do not have a reader list on Day 0.
Children
The site is written for a general adult audience learning US consumer-finance systems. It is not directed at children under 13.
Contact about privacy
There is no public email yet (see Contact). When an address is published, use it for privacy questions and deletion requests related to messages you sent us. We cannot delete logs held only by an infrastructure provider; those follow the provider’s retention rules.
Changes
The date at the top will change when this policy changes. Material changes (analytics, forms, advertising) will be described in the updated text.
